This No.6 selvedge canvas is woven in Kurashiki, Kojima, using traditional shuttle looms that have been in use for decades. The high-density weave creates a uniquely textured, soft yet structured fabric with a rich, dimensional feel. It is known for its exceptional durability and firmness, maintaining its shape even after extended use.

Because shuttle looms weave fabric by sending the shuttle back and forth, they naturally produce clean, tightly finished selvedge edges. The weaving process requires careful adjustments to temperature and humidity, and skilled artisans can produce only around 50 meters per day��making this canvas a rare and premium material.
